Portfolio based qualifications
Portfolio based qualifications (e.g. BTEC, National Open College Network (NOCN)): It is extremely important that centres have in place rigorous quality assurance processes which are fully understood and followed by all staff. We can provide detailed handbooks, assignment templates and appropriate staff training for level 1, 2 and 3 qualifications. We can also provide a quality assurance service, where assignments can be verified for staff before use with the students and the service also includes ‘on-site visits’, where the moderation of student assignments is completed before the start of the external moderation process by the exam boards.
